Arthritis Is Common in Young Adults

Arthritis can cause loss of movement, swelling and excruciating pain. While this disease is commonly associated with adults over the age of 60, younger adults are also often diagnosed with it.

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis and it is a degenerative disease. While it is most prevalent among older women, younger women are also known to be diagnosed with this disease as early as in their thirties. It can cause pain and loss of movement, and may require surgery to repair certain joint areas.

Gout is another form of arthritis that is common in young adult males. While this disease can be controlled with medication and proper diet, it can cause extreme amounts of pain in the affected areas. This form of arthritis is caused by a buildup of uric acid in the body.  Some cases of gout are so severe that individuals can't leave their homes for days at a time.  According to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, an estimated 6 million adults 20 and older have had gout at some time in their lives.

If arthritis is left untreated, it can result in visual deformities of the body. It is not uncommon for young adults to have disfigured hands or feet due to joint ailments.

While some patients rely on traditional medications to treat arthritis, many of them prefer natural treatments because of their low risk of side effects. Provailen can be used as a standalone joint pain relief and it is manufactured in a FDA registered facility. While highly effective in eliminating joint pain, stiffness and swelling, Provailen is also known to help balance your immune system and increase flexibility, amongst many other things.

For some, exercise and activity can help with the joint pain, while others have to refrain from it. It is best to speak with your doctor to find out which activities you need to cease until your joints are healed and able to endure the strain of sports and other activities.

If you have not been diagnosed with arthritis, but suffer from pain in your joints, it is best to seek the professional advice of a physician. They will be able to properly diagnose your condition, and recommend treatment for it. Natural medicines may also prove to be an alternate solution for you.

Before taking any medication, research your condition and the potential treatments. Traditional medicines may or may not provide the pain relief that you are looking for. With proper medication and time, young adults can continue to live an active lifestyle while dealing with joint pain. For more information on arthritis, contact your physician or other trusted healthcare professional.
